Chunkly Privacy Policy

The short version

Chunkly collects nothing. There is no account to create, no server to talk to, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Everything you type stays on your iPhone.

What stays on your device

The tasks you write, the steps they are cut into, your saved templates, and how long you spent on a step are stored on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. They are never transmitted anywhere. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, that backup is made by Apple under Apple's terms, and we have no access to it.

Automatic cutting

On an iPhone 15 Pro or newer running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled, Chunkly can cut a task into steps for you. That runs entirely on the device, using Apple's built-in on-device language model. The text you typed is not sent to us, to Apple, or to any other company. Chunkly does not use Apple's Private Cloud Compute.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the app only whether this Apple Account has purchased it. We never see your name, email address, payment details, or any other identifying information, and we do not receive a list of who bought the app.

Children

Chunkly does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
